Meet Frank

Republican For State Representative District 118

State Representative Frank Artiles grew up in Miami-Dade County raised by dedicated parents. As the son of Cuban immigrants who fled the tyranny of Fidel Castro more than forty years ago, Frank’s story is what the American dream is made of. Frank is happily married to Aimee Artiles, a Miami native who supports and shares his desire to serve our community. The Artiles’ have two young daughters, Bella and Giavanna.

Educational Background

A driven and passionate young man, Frank worked hard to put himself through school and later dedicated his talent to build a successful, small business in our community. Frank graduated from our local public school system, attended Miami Dade College and later graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice & Criminology. Artiles continued his studies at St. Thomas University School of Law, earning his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and then his Masters of Law in Real Property Development (LL.M) from the University of Miami School of Law.

With a deep love for his country, Frank could think of no better way to express his gratitude for the opportunities given to him than to serve his country as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Marine Corps. Frank served proudly during Operation Iraqi Freedom and also participated in several international counter-drug operations.

Representative Artiles was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2010 and currently serves House District 118. After the conclusion of the 2012 Legislative Session on Redistricting, Frank will be running for election in the new House District 118. In addition to his service, Representative Artiles is an active member of his community. He is the owner of a local small business, providing homeowners and business owners’ professional assistance while they navigate through the complicated process of filing a claim with their insurance carrier after suffering a loss. Additionally, Frank and his wife, Aimee, own and operate Artiles² Solutions and serve as Professional Business and Legal Consultants.

Charity and Activities

The Artiles family also dedicates their time to a charity they founded – Angel Share. The charity was created in 2008 as a way to help underprivileged families in our community while empowering young children to get involved and learn the importance of generosity and giving back to those less fortunate. To date, the organization has raised more than $15,000 for families in need in our community.

Frank and his family look forward to your continued support.
